ಕೀಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಳೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಪರಿಚಯ:-
ಕೀಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಳೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿಭಾಗವಾಗಿದ್ದು. ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ತರಬೇತಿ, ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆ, ಅನುಸಂಧಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಸಾಮುದಾಯಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅತ್ಯಾಧುನಿಕ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಸರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಧ್ಯೇಯೋದ್ಧೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದ್ದವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಕೀಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಳೆ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಭೌಗೊಳಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ಜನರಿಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಮೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಮುಖೇನ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಕೀಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮೂಳೆ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಈಗ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪಸರಿಸುವ ಸಾಮಾರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅನಿರ್ಧಿಷ್ಠಾವಧಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದ ಒತ್ತಡಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವೈದ್ಯರು ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನಭಂಡಾರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಘಟಕಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಾರು 350 ರಿಂದ 400 ಜನ ಹೊರರೋಗಿಗಳು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಮಾಹೆಯಾನ 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಸ್ತçಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳು, ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೃಹವೈದ್ಯರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
